Mosiah 22
It's interesting that wine is used as a strategy to defeat the Lamanites in The Book of Mormon and yet today people still drink it and get drunk and don't see a problem with it. I don't know why people like to lose that kind of control of themselves and allow some kind of substance to take over who they are and how they act.

23:21, "...the Lord seeth fit to chasten his people; yea, he trieth their patience and their faith." (cross-reference; Proverbs 3:5)

Am I passing my test? What do I need to do to improve my life and my attitude in order to have more patience and faith in the Lord?
Gaining a stronger relationship with Christ talking to Him instead of others when I'm having a hard time, asking for strength through Christ would help me more then telling others or complaining to others about my trials I'm going through.

If God answers your prayers, He is increasing your faith. If he doesn't, He is training your patience.:

Blessing: I know that God doesn't give me trials I can't get through and I know they aren't just to make my life hard but to help me grow and stretch.
