Mosiah 11
Abinadi enters the story, the Lord tells him to go and tell the people of King Noah to repent. The people of King Noah are described in the scriptures as; people (that) labored exceedingly to support iniquity, (vs 6) and they exercised hatred (vs 17).

vs 27 King Noah says, "Who is Abinadi, that I and my people should be judged of him, or who is the Lord, that shall bring upon my people such great affliction?"

As I read this I think about how proud and arrogant King Noah was to think that no one could make him or his people do or go through anything they didn't want to. The part that really surprised me was the part about the Lord. He is obviously not very learned and doesn't know who the Lord is and or what He has done for His people or will do for His people. I think there are a lot of people like that on earth that we shouldn't judge as believers in Christ but we should help them see the Lords hand in all things.

Abinadi goes before the king and teaches him that he needs to repent and obey the commandments that God has given them and reminds them that they aren't doing the things they think they are.

How can I be a better example of righteousness? What do I need to change in my life to be more like the Savior?
I think trying to be more humble and take correction from my Father in Heaven would be a good way to start. Realize that trials are to make me stronger and to bring me closer to Him.

Blessing: I have been blessed with beautiful thick wavy hair that I love.
