The sons of Mosiah desired that everyone should have salvation so they went and taught the Laminites by the commandments of God.
The Lord told Mosiah, "Let them go up, for many shall believe on their words, and they shall have eternal life; and I will deliver thy sons out of the hands of the Laminites."
That would be an amazing promise as a missionary from the Lord, that you will have many converts before you go out into the mission field.
King Mosiah has the urim and thummim (28:13) that he translated with just like the Prophet Joseph Smith. (JS-H 1:35)
I really like the wording of Mosiah 29:19, "And were it not for the interposition of their all-wise Creator, and this because of their sincere repentance, they must unavoidably remain in bondage until now."
I love the position they put God in. Telling us that he is all- wise and reminding us of the true power that He has. It makes me want to be more aware of the things He does for me, for people and around me and for the circumstances around me because He has all power and all wisdom. I am trying to recognize the blessings that are harder to notice the ones that aren't as obvious in my life. Like why I was put in a situation or met a certain person in my life.
"extending the arm of mercy towards them that put their trust in him." (Mosiah 29:20)
How can we better show God that we trust him? I need to work on the Christlike attributes of faith and hope in my life and put more trust in my Heavenly Father.
"Alma did walk in the way of the Lord, and he did keep his commandments, and he did judge righteous judgements;" (Mosiah 29:43)
I love this, "his father died, having lived to fulfill the commanmments of God."
-How can we live to fulfill the commandments of God?
-What do we need to strive to change in our lives to be more fully living the commandments?
-How can we find true happiness and, therefore, have a greater desire to live "to fulfill the commandments"?
-What are some of the doctrine that we don't understand or that we need a better understanding of to be more righteous and have a greater desire to be righteous?

Blessing: The revelation and things I am able to learn through the words of the Lord (scriptures) and through His spirit every single day when I read my scriptures.
