Alma 12:8; Zeezrom was curious and was asking Alma questions to gain a better understanding. It is important to ask questions and really try to better understand what the concept is. In order to learn and better understand we need to be curious and not loose the love for learning.
We are asked to repent of our sins and to understand opposition and that there is a right and a wrong way of living life. God "has all power to save every man that believeth on his name and bringeth forth fruit meet for repentance." (Alma 12:15)
What can I do more then I am doing to gain greater faith and hope in my life? (pray about)

Blessing: I was able to attend mom and dad's stake conference where Elder Holland presided and listen to him speak.
