Ammon says that he is going to rejoice in God and that He knows he says, I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak;" (Alma 26:11-12)
-Sometimes I feel like I have a hard time with this concept. I often go from one extreme to the next thinking I am smart and talented and my self-esteem goes up to the next I feel like I am nothing. But it's important to remember that I am important to my heavenly Father. That is something that is easy to remember when life is going good and we aren't going through really hard trials.
But I do love Alma 26:12, "in his strength I can do all things;"
-It's important to remember that as I may be nothing to the world and to others around me. Christ knows my potential and He knows my strengths and weaknesses and will help me to fulfill His will, the talents and abilities He has given me. But we must acknowledge where they come from and use them in righteous ways.
- It's an interesting concept to think about this because We are nothing but to God we are also everything.
They were going to teach the Lamanites in hopes that they could "save some few of their souls," What an amazing thing to do. They had true love for these people that probably originally came from God but that's amazing the desires they had.
It also says that "the Lord comforted us," wow that's such a blessing to have when going through trials is comfort and peace from the Lord himself. That is something we should all strive for and live worthy for in our own daily lives.
Blessing- The Lord never leaves me alone even when I am burden down with trials and feel lonely.
