"And the first fruits of repentance is; 1. baptism;and baptism cometh by
2. faith unto the fulfilling the commandments;
3. and the fulfilling the commandments bringeth
4. remission of sins; And the remission of sins bringeth
5. meekness and lowliness of heart; and because of meekness and lowliness of heart cometh
6. the visitations of the Holy Ghost," (Moroni 8:25-26)

"ponder it in your hearts." Moroni 10:3
When introducing the Book of Mormon to both member and investigators on my mission I would point out that in the challenge at the end of Moroni that it says,
"And when ye shall receive these things, i would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true;" (Moroni 10:4)
It's a challenge, and a promise in it'self that we might know that we will receive the answer that it is true when we ask.
But the trick is we must, "ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ,"
Here is another promise: "he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost." (Moroni 10:4)
"remember that every good gift cometh of Christ." (Moroni 10:18)
I was thinking about this concept yesterday in church because it is something I am struggling with; "there must be faith; and if there must be faith there must also be hope; and if there must be hope there must also be charity." (Moroni 10:20)

-I have been struggling to understand if I have hope. I know I have faith in God and faith in His timing but to have hope for things that you don't know if they are ever going to come is hard. Desires of one's heart that are so strong and so real but it's hard to know if you will every receive them.

Blessing: I have an amazing bishop who is willing to take time to talk to me.
