This is an interesting contrast: (Alma 49:27-28)
The king of the Lamanites, who was a Nephite by birth, "was exceedingly wroth, and he did curse God, and also Moroni, ... and this because Moroni had kept the commandments of God in preparing for the safety of his people."
"on the other hand, the people of Nephi did thank the Lord their God, because of his matchless power in delivering them from the hands of their enemies."
It's interesting and really makes me think what group of people am I most likely to act like?
If we were to take the easiest way out it would be to curse God for all the hardships we go through in this life. If we were to take the harder way it would be to pray and ask for strength as go go through these hard things and better be able to learn and grow from them.
Blessing: I've been taught and have great examples in my life of how to act towards God in hard situations.
