"for this is the cursing and the blessing of God upon the land, and the Lord cannot look upon sin with the least degree of allowance." Alma 45:16
With our world today becoming similar to the deteriorating Nephite society in the Book of Mormon, one document in particular provides clarity and guidance. http://lds.org/family/proclamation Let us “make [the proclamation] a banner not unlike General Moroni’s ‘title of liberty,’ and commit ourselves to live by its precepts.” –Elder M. Russell Ballard http://lds.org/ensign/2013/09/still-a-clarion-call LIKE and SHARE if you agree. http://facebook.com/189155347799517:    Family Proclamation Summary...lots of different styles available, great for framing.....or one idea is to mod podge them to wooden blocks for a YW activity, how cute :):
"In memory of our God, our religion, and freedom, and our peace, our wives, and our children"
This is a good reminder of what is truly important. What we need to focus our lives on and how we can better understand what the Lord wants our focus to be on.
We need to focus our lives on living the Proclamation to the World. It is a good guide to lives.
"And those who did belong to the church were faithful; yea, all those who were true believers of Christ took upon them, gladly, the name of Christ, or Christians as they were called because of their belief in Christ who should come." Alma 46:15
I like this verse and I also have always thought it was interesting that this is the first time we see the word Christians in the scriptures. I love that it says true believers in Christ. It wasn't those who wanted signs, they probably had trials and temptations like the rest of us. But it probably made it more bearable and easier for them to go through hard times because of their faith and dedication to God.
Blessing: I am staying busy with work and have amazing clients I'm able to be with and help.
