- Baptism is so important, it is so sad that the world looks at it as something that just needs to be done so they baptize babies and "forgive" those who are on their death bed. Life wasn't meant to be that easy. Baptism is a changing of our whole person, our whole being and to change and become more like God we must be baptized and have a mighty change of heart and mind. If we get baptized and go back to our old ways it is a mockery to God.

"There is but one baptism; it takes the baptism of water, of the Holy Ghost, and of fire to constitute one full baptism." (Hyrum L. Andrus and Helen Mae Andrus, They Knew the Prophet, p. 51
