what does it take to be a "true believer in Christ" ? (4 Nephi 1:36) What do we need to do, change, become?
I think it takes more than just words and simple actions. I think to be a true believer it takes dedication and work. To be a true believer would mean to me to desire a relationship with Christ, you can't really believe in something or someone you don't know. Having a relationship or being in a relationship takes a lot of work.
Christ is always willing and ready for us to come to Him so it's not hard on our part and doesn't take much work. We have to be willing to get to know Him and learn of Him.
I'm thankful for His example and for the perfect example He set for us. I'm reading Jesus the Christ right now and it truly gives me a greater appreciation, and love for my Savior and all He did and still does for me today.
