(3 Nephi 22:10) "my kindness shall not depart from thee," vs 14; "In righteousness shalt thou be established;" 

 We have a perfect example that we are able to follow; because He is kind and perfect we can know what it takes and what we need to do in order to become more perfect and like him. When we are kind it is easier to be righteous and obedient.
We need to make sure we are paying our tithing and fast offerings because otherwise we are stilling from God. We already probably don't do enough to deserve the blessings we get and if we aren't paying back what we owe then we aren't being honest.

Blessing: God gives us so many ways to receive blessings that are so simple.
