1 Corinthians 10:13. " There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
1 Nephi 15:2 "the guilty take the truth to be hard, for it cutteth them to the very center." This last conference after the policy change with the same-sex marriage role in the US is a good example of this. Alot of people fell away from the church there are like thousands of people. People don't want to hear what they don't want to hear. They want us or our church leaders to sugar coat everything.

Faith, Diligence and Heed are important to get us to accomplish the things the Lord has in store for us. It's important to remember that "by small means the Lord can bring about great things." (1Nephi 16:29) As I do the small things, service, temple work, being kind to others,ect. The Lord will make sure that it makes a big difference and that great things will come out of the small work I do, as long as I am trying and strengthening my faith in Him.

Am I acting like Nephi today or like Laman and Lemuel?
