Moroni said that he "never had seen so great courage," That's amazing. I wish I had great courage like these young men did. They told him "behold our God is with us, and he will not suffer that we should fall;" Wow to have such amazing faith in God and belief that everything will be okay. I am not even in a real battle where I could get stabbed by the enemy but I still get scared to go out into the world.
I love this vs in ch 56:47 "they had been taught by their mothers that if they did not doubt God would deliver them." I hope that someday I have the chance to be that kind of a mother and can teach my sons to have great faith in God. They said "We do not doubt our mothers knew it." That is a powerful statement of faith and courage. We need homes like this to raise our children of these coming generations in.
How can we make sure our homes are homes of refuge?
What do we need to improve on today?
Is the spirit always present?
